Wall art

A commission for a private apartment in Warsaw, where the owner wanted a textile piece rooted in Polish craft tradition without being obvious about it. The pattern is drawn from the geometric glass found in old Polish doors, translated into an overshot weave. Dyed in pale madder, which gives the piece a warm antique rose tone. Made for a newly renovated flat in the Warsaw old town.
